Our consult rooms are well-lit with natural light, and we sit together for as much of the consultation as possible. The examination table is lower and non-stainless steel, creating a less intimidating environment for your pet. If examining your pet on the floor is more convenient or comfortable, we’re happy to do so.
Our team doesn’t wear white coats; we want both you and your pet to feel at ease. We use Feliway and Adaptil pheromones throughout the clinic to help reduce stress and anxiety for our cat and dog patients.
Routine consultations are 20 minutes long, but we allocate extra time for first puppy or kitten visits or complex cases.
We conduct thorough examinations of your pet, often uncovering additional issues that may be more significant than the reason you initially visited. Many of these problems are interrelated, allowing you to get a full picture of your pet’s health and prioritise their care.
At our practice, you’ll receive a complete copy of your pet’s medical notes. We believe that understanding your pet’s health empowers you to provide the best care possible.
Consultations are by appointment, and we strive to stay on time. However, unexpected issues and emergencies can arise. Our reception nurses are trained in triage and can quickly assess priorities. Please let us know if your pet needs urgent attention.
If you’re unable to stay for an appointment or if no vet consultation is available, our nurse triage and admit service can assist. A nurse will see you and your pet for a nurse triage consultation and provide a comfortable stay in hospital with us until a vet can examine your pet. After the examination, we’ll call to discuss your pet’s needs and proceed with agreed-upon treatment. This service is offered at no extra charge.
